Our Story

Reclaiming Our Attention

Mute.Club was created to solve a problem most of us feel but rarely name: our attention is slipping away.

We reach for our phones without thinking, fill quiet moments with scrolling, and end each day wondering where the hours went.

What began as connection has become compulsion — and it's taking a real toll on how we live, think, and rest.

Constant screen time affects more than productivity. It fragments memory, heightens anxiety, disrupts sleep, and leaves us wired but drained. We're overstimulated, under-focused, and quietly exhausted.

Our thesis is simple:

By combining physical detachment through the Mute Dock, gamified personal challenges that make progress feel rewarding, and social accountability with friends, we can dramatically reshape our relationship with our phones. This blend of tangible action, motivation, and community creates real, lasting change — not just good intentions.

Mute.Club exists to make that shift possible. We're building tools that help people disconnect with intention — not through restriction, but through balance and shared accountability.

Our mission is to help the world save one billion hours of screen time by 2030.

Every hour regained is an hour of presence — with our families, our work, and ourselves.
